MISSION STATEMENT

At Aftermath Rec Center, our mission is to provide a safe, active, and engaging space where families and children can play, celebrate, and connect. Through open gym bounce house events, private party rentals, and community-driven experiences, we create memorable moments in a fun and welcoming environment. As an extension of Aftermath Fitness, we’re committed to promoting movement, laughter, and togetherness — one jump at a time.

About me

When I purchased the building that’s now home to Aftermath Rec Center, my original goal was to turn it into a CrossFit gym. But we were given the opportunity to continue using the space as a rec center — complete with bounce houses, party rentals, and community events — and it turned out to be one of the best parts of the project.

After putting in a lot of work to clean up and remodel the space, it’s been incredibly rewarding to see families enjoying it again. Hosting events has been more fun than I ever expected — and personally, getting to take my daughter to our own daddy/daughter dance right here at the Rec Center was a moment I’ll always remember.

It’s been great connecting with local families and helping create a place where people can come together, play, and make lasting memories. That’s what Aftermath Rec Center is all about.

About me

When we started planning Aftermath Rec Center, I knew I wanted to create a space that brought people together and got the community moving. With 15 years in education, I’m passionate about organization and planning — and making sure every event runs smoothly and feels special.

I’m always on the go, whether it’s playing games with kids, helping families celebrate, or finding new ways to encourage activity and connection. Family means everything to me, and it’s been amazing to see so many families enjoying the Rec Center and making memories of their own.

Being part of this project has been a joyful way to give back to the community and create a vibrant, welcoming space where everyone can have fun and feel connected.
